Quilt club meets the second Tuesday of each month. Join the fun and learn a new quilt block and technique each month.
Due to limited space you must pre-register for each month's club.
Cost: $8 per class Kits are usually offered for a small fee (usually under $10)
Supply List: Each month you will need to bring your sewing machine, cord, foot control, rulers, scissors, rotary cutter, mat, thread, basic sewing supplies. Some months there may be some special notions or rulers you will need. they are optional, but are very helpful. They will also be available for purchase on the day club meets.
JANUARY
12" Finished Block You will need 3 different colors for this block. One fat quarter of each color will make two 12" finished blocks.
For each block you will cut:
From the background color:
Four 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares
Four 3-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles
From dark color:
Two 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares
Four 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares
From medium color:
Two 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares
Four 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares
FEBRUARY
12" Finished Block You will need 2 different colors for this block. Your center block is 6-1/2". If you would like to embroider it, do that before cutting your 6-1/2" square.
For each block you will cut:
From the background color:
Two 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares
Four 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares
From your print fabric:
Two 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares
One 6-1/2" squaare (this is your center)
MARCH
8" Finished block (This makes 3 blocks) This block takes 6 different color fabrics. This can also be done with fat quarters. Four Patch Center:
