Description: BQ3 Big Quilt Class Date: Thursday, September 16 Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm Cost: $25 + pattern Instructor: Pam Rackley  Maple Island Quilts BQ 3 Pattern- Another "Big Quilt" pattern for a big bold look. This quilt's blocks puts the emphasis on a large square of "special" fabric, like a big bold print, that is flanked, on 2 sides, by slightly angled segments, and another full, but smaller, square. Choose to make the wall hanging and quilts from 18" or 9" blocks. 6 sizes of quilts from 32"x 41" to 90"x 108".  Supplies to bring to class: - Sewing machine in good working condition (power cord and foot control) - Basic sewing kit - Sewing thread for piecing - Cutting Mat - Rotary Cutter - Ruler (at least 24" long) Fabric Requirements: (Bring fabric to class uncut please. You will cut in class.) Choose good contrast between all fabrics, but very high contrast between the "L" and "D" fabric. "C" functions as an accent and can be bold or subtle.
