Supplies
Needed:
Smooth Candle
Good quality lace designs
Floriani
Wet N Gone® Stabilizer
Sponge,
Foam Paint Brush, or Envelope Sealer

1) Select
a lace design and thread your machine.
2) Hoop one layer
of Floriani Wet N Gone® in the appropriate size embroidery
frame. (Because Wet N Gone® won’t stretch, it is O.K. to
embroider multiple lace designs within the frame.)

| 3) After the embroidery
is complete, remove the design from the frame and trim the Wet N Gone® to within ½” of the design. |

4) With the candle
lying on its side on a towel, position the lace motif where
you want it. Apply water by dabbing the design lightly with
a soaked sponge or foam paint brush.
The Wet N Gone® will begin to disappear into the
threads of the design. Let the design “set up” for 15 minutes
before applying another one to the candle. *After the candle
is completely decorated and dry – go back with a wet
cloth to remove any “teardrops” that may have run down the
sides of the candle.

Don’t forget to tell the person who receives this
wonderful gift that they can rinse the lace motifs and make ornaments
or sun catchers out of them as the candle burns away!
